We at Silver Screen Loungerie, are dedicated to offering vintage lingerie items of the highest quality. While we sometimes find the occasional “new/old stock” piece, most of our items have been gently worn by just one previous owner. By definition, “vintage” means “old”, and we take great care in restoring the items, as much as possible, to their original beauty.
This nightgown has no maker’s label or size tag, and we found it to be in excellent condition. It has been hand-laundered to remove surface dust and wrinkles, and there are no stains or holes that we could find. The gown is ready to wear, and even the pinked seams are as strong as they originally were.
The fabric is that wonderful crepe-de-chine weave of rayon that is no longer being made. This fabric has the same lustrous finish on both sides. Turn the gown inside-out, and you’ll not see or feel any difference!
The gown features a front V neckline, which is enhanced by zig-zag stitching along the V. The back bodice is slit from the neckline to the waist seam.
As worn by our 5’ – 10” ‘Gloria’ model, the gown drapes 55-1/2 inches to just above her pretty ankles! As always, please be aware that the stated measurements are those of the gown itself. Your own body measurements should be less.
We offer this gown that is so sensual to wear, and gives you a most-definite come hither look!
