This wonderful silk charmeuse nightgown dates from 1950, according to the Fischer ad in that year! The Fischer ad reads… ah-h-h-h-h- Creamy Pure Silk Satin designed to be cherished (a Fischer slip always is!). The bodice is gentle flowered lace, and the slip hues are cool, delicate. At the nicest stores near you.

The pictures and the Fischer ad tell most of the story of this “cherishable” piece! The gown comes complete with its original golden “Fischer Heavenly Silk Lingerie” hang tag, which has care instructions on the reverse side. Although complete with hang tag, we laundered the slip to remove dust and fold lines from long time storage.
The slip has wonderful proportions – ranging from a size 33+ bodice - through a small-ish 30-inch waist, and on down to the lace-trimmed hem 49 inches from the shoulder! Just be certain that your own body measurements are less than the crosswise measurements of the slip.
On our 5’ – 10” ‘Gloria’ model, the gown drapes to even with her lower calf. This is one very-special Fischer slip, and it will be a joy to YOU, the most-fortunate buyer, and the Star of your own Life!
