Golden Mermaid! 1930s Fischer Silk Charmeuse Bias-Cut Slip Sz-34+ (#1253)

This pretty silk charmeuse slip dates from the late-1930s, and is one of our select group of Fischer beauties in our New Jersey ‘HQ’ of Silver Screen Loungerie. We at Silver Screen Loungerie, are dedicated to offering vintage lingerie items of the highest quality possible. While we sometimes find the occasional “new/old stock” piece, most of our items have been either gently or moderately worn by a previous owner. By definition, “vintage” means “old”, and we take great care in restoring items – as much as possible – to their original beauty. This slip is one of the most popular of the many fabulous Fischer designs, and it features lace shoulder straps and a widely-flared ( inches) skirt. It has a 3-1/2 inches deep lace panel across the back, just perfect for wear under a sheer blouse! The slip is in excellent condition, with no flaws that we could find. The unique “Mermaid” label is placed under the left armhole, and a faded size tag is at the center-back.

The slip drapes to a few inches below the knee on our 5’ – 11” Gloria model. The stated measurements are those of the slipitself, and your own body measurements should be less.

This slip-gown is so pretty, that if you dare, it could also be worn by itself as a dress! Whether worn as a slip or dress, it will be a joy to YOU, the fortunate buyer and STAR of your own Life!
