Swirly Flowery Satin! 1940s Bias-Cut ‘Full-Sweep’ Rayon Nightgown (34-36)

Just one of the prettiest, floral-printed nightgowns that we’ve ever seen, and it has a most-rare half-circle skirt! Along with other choice floral satins, this beauty is now available in the “Fabulous Florals” and “Richard’s Collection” departments. Click on one of our 'Gloria' models to find our special boutiques!

Offered for your lounging pleasure, is this wonderful floral satin nightgown made by a custom dressmaker. This gown is for the person who wants the very-best in floral-printed satin lingerie! The gown is in near-mint condition, showing very-little signs of previous wear. The pinked seam allowances are as sharp as they originally were, and there are no spots or holes that we could find.

The gown is beautifully finished with a surplice-wrapped bodice -- both front and back, and the skirt is 138 inches in hem circumference. (Half-circle skirt) The satin fabric has a very-nice weight to it, (no “see-thru”), so the gown can easily be worn outside the home. As the print is of purple violets on a blush-pink ground, the gown can be worn at almost any time of the year!

Enjoy the pictures of (size 33) ‘Gloria’ modeling this gown, and if you need additional pictures, please ask! As always, the stated measurements are those of the gown itself. (In particular, the waist measures a snug 29 inches.) Your own body measurements should be less.
