This World War-2 Era “slinker” is one of hundreds of thousands of rayon nightgowns made during the early 1940s. Along with several other gowns from this period, you’ll find them in the New Jersey ‘HQ’ of Silver Screen Loungerie! The gown is in excellent condition, with no flaws that we could find. You will find this beauty in both the “Nightgowns” and “Richard’s Collection” departments. Click on one of the 'Gloria' models to explore our special boutiques!
The gown is modeled by size 33 ‘Gloria’, who delights in the slinky fit of this gown! No waist ties are needed here, as the bias-cut provides the sexiest fit through the waist and hip areas. The rayon crepe-de-chine fabric is the best of this WW-2 era, and it’s simply not made anymore. The gown can actually be turned inside-out, and the look and feel of the fabric is exactly the same on both sides!
This is truly one of our sexiest nightgowns from this 40s war period, and it is eminently wearable by today’s sirens of their own boudoirs! Additional pictures are available, and we would be happy to send them on request.
